Bengkirai /bangkirai (shorea laevis), well knowing as yellow balau, is Tropical Hardwood and mostly can find in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Characteristic feature and advantage of bangkirai wood :
- Interesting Wood color. Bengkirai wood has a interesting color, indicating its class, namely light brown to yellowish yellow.

As Tropical Hardwood that naturally repels moisture, it can withstand extreme air and weather. As a result, it is the right choice for areas with high humidity or rainfall and even allows it to be used for residential application and construction purposes in cold climates with snowfall.
